The dinner party planner for one oven and eight people
A dinner for eight is a scheduling problem wearing a menu. Plan it as a board with what can be done ahead and what needs the oven, and find the clash on Tuesday instead of at seven on Saturday.
The short version
A dinner party is decided by the oven, not the menu. Two dishes needing 200C at the same time is the failure, and it is invisible while you are choosing recipes. Mark what can be made ahead, what needs the oven and at what temperature, and build the menu so only one thing is hot at a time.
